Many patients are interested in one of the newest weight loss approaches: semaglutide injections sold under the brand names Ozempic®, Wegovy®, and Mounjaro™.

Semaglutide was initially prescribed to people with Type 2 diabetes because it helps control blood sugar levels when combined with healthy eating. But many diabetics who used Ozempic and Mounjaro to control their blood sugar also experienced significant weight loss.
